Dr Smail has additional training and experience in occupational medicine and works with businesses to keep people healthy, safe and productive with clear, actionable reports.

- Fitness-for-work assessments & management referrals. Independent reviews for new or ongoing health issues with concise recommendations for duties, risk controls and review intervals.
- Return-to-work planning. Phased return plans, reasonable adjustments and safety considerations aligned with role demands.
- Pre-placement & baseline screening. Online questionnaires with targeted examinations or tests when indicated; sign-off that’s proportionate to risk.
- Sickness absence review. Balanced advice that supports the employee and gives managers what they need to plan safely.
- DSE & ergonomic guidance. Workstation advice and signposting; onward referral for complex assessments.
- Health screening & vaccinations. Cardiometabolic checks (BP, lipids, HbA1c) and workplace vaccinations (for example influenza, Hepatitis B) where appropriate; travel health coordinated through our clinic.
- On-site or in-clinic. Flexible clinics at your workplace or at Evergreen, with prompt turnaround and joined-up communication.
Scope & escalation
For statutory or specialist medicals (for example offshore/renewables or DVLA-mandated assessments), we can coordinate and signpost to registered providers when required.
