Six Months of Evergreen Medical & Wellness Clinic
When we opened the doors to Evergreen Medical & Wellness Clinic in Morningside earlier this year, our vision was simple: to create a modern, welcoming private GP clinic in Edinburgh where patients could access high-quality medical care, preventative health services and evidence-led wellness treatments under one roof.
Six months on, it feels like the perfect opportunity to reflect on how far we've come.
Since opening in February, we've been delighted to welcome patients from across Edinburgh and beyond, continuing to build a clinic that combines trusted medical expertise with a proactive, personalised approach to healthcare.
Expanding Our Services
One of our biggest developments has been the launch of the Edinburgh Travel Clinic, providing travel health consultations, vaccinations, antimalarial advice and destination-specific guidance for individuals, families and businesses preparing for overseas travel.
Our Women's Health services have also expanded significantly. We have introduced coil fitting and contraceptive services and have begun developing our new multidisciplinary menopause service. Unlike many traditional menopause clinics, our aim is to provide a truly holistic approach, bringing together GP expertise alongside physiotherapy, dietetics and clinical psychology to support women through every stage of the menopause journey.
Within skin health and medical aesthetics, we've introduced Hydrafacial treatments alongside the OBSERV 520x Skin Analysis System, allowing us to assess skin health in greater detail and create personalised treatment plans based on objective analysis rather than guesswork. Our philosophy remains the same as every other aspect of Evergreen: natural results, evidence-led care and treatments tailored to the individual.
Our clinical services continue to evolve. We now offer minor surgical procedures alongside platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments for skin rejuvenation and hair restoration, complementing our growing portfolio of preventative and aesthetic medical services.
Improving Access to Healthcare
One of our priorities has always been making healthcare more accessible.
Alongside booked appointments, we continue to offer same-day private GP appointments wherever possible, together with selected weekend availability, helping patients access expert medical advice when they need it most.
Whether you're visiting Evergreen for an acute illness, a long-term health concern, preventative health screening or ongoing wellbeing support, our team is here to provide thoughtful, personalised care.
Growing Our Team
Growth wouldn't be possible without great people.
We're delighted to have welcomed Jane and Suzanne, who are leading our Medical Clinic services, alongside our front-of-house team, Rhona and Maya, whose warm welcome and professionalism help create the calm, friendly experience patients receive from the moment they arrive.
Supporting Businesses Across Edinburgh
Occupational Health has also become an important part of our offering.
Led by Dr Simon Smail, we now provide occupational health assessments and workplace medical services for businesses and organisations across Edinburgh and the Lothians, helping employers support the health and wellbeing of their teams.
Beyond the clinic, we've also joined the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce and look forward to strengthening relationships with local businesses and becoming an even more active part of the Morningside community.
Looking Ahead
Whilst we're incredibly proud of everything we've achieved during our first six months, this is only the beginning.
Over the coming months, we'll continue expanding our services, investing in preventative healthcare, developing new clinics and sharing more expert health advice with our patients and wider community.
